As a residential landscape designer, consultant, and educator, Cheryl concentrates on water-efficient, ecologically-responsible landscapes and is passionate about protecting and caring for our environment, and conserving one of our most precious resources - water. Cheryl's commitment to being a good steward of our environment is demonstrated through her designs, teaching experiences, professional affiliations, and volunteer service.

Although Cheryl has been designing landscapes since 1993, it was during a Xeriscape class at Sierra College and a tour of her first Water-Efficient Landscape (WEL) Garden - now referred to as Antelope Gardens - when her direction became clear.

We are fortunate to live during a time when there is an abundance of materials, information, and choices - so many options that it can be overwhelming. Cheryl truly enjoys functioning as a Liaison for her clients, working closely with each one throughout the design and decision-making process, giving attention to every detail. This is the difference that results in landscapes that are beautiful expressions of each client's personal goals and lifestyle.

Eager to increase awareness about water-conserving, sustainable landscaping, Cheryl enjoys giving workshops and presentations for groups and organizations such as the City of Roseville, City of Folsom, Sacramento Suburban Water District, Green Gardener Program, and the Sacramento Area and Nevada County Bee Keeper Associations. She also consults with Homeowner Associations and residents, assisting them in converting traditional high-water consuming turf areas into water-efficient landscapes that retain property value and enhance neighborhood appeal.
